Schnauzer in Pinner

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured with PBI Pet Insurance, providing peace of mind for both you and your pet.

In addition to our insurance, we hold walking licenses for both Harrow and Hillingdon, conduct thorough risk assessments, and are trained in canine first aid. Our team regularly participates in courses to stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and best practices in dog care. You can learn more about our qualifications and commitment to safety on our "About Us" page!

How many dogs are walked at once and how are they grouped?

Our team are insured to handle up to 6 dogs per handler. We carefully group dogs based on various factors to ensure a positive experience for all, including personality, playstyle, preferred walking style (such as fast-paced walks or sniffy plods), and each individuals personal preferences.

This is all assessed during our free no obligation meet and greet and allows us to tailor each walk and interaction to meet the unique needs of the dogs, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and enjoy their time with us.

Please be aware that your dog may need to try several groups to ensure they settle into the one they are most comfortable with!

Do I need to be home for you to collect my dog?

No, you do not need to be home when we collect or drop off your dog. Most of our clients are comfortable sharing a set of keys or a code to a safety deposit box.

This allows us to collect and drop off your dog even when you're not home, making the process simple and stress-free for you.

Do you offer services on bank holidays and weekends?

We are typically closed on bank holidays and weekends. However, clients can request additional walks on these days.

Please note that this is at our discretion, and walks scheduled on these days may incur an additional charge.

My dog hasn’t been spayed/ neutered, will you take them?

Yes, we will consider your dog regardless of whether they have been spayed or neutered. Each dog is evaluated based on their individual temperament, behaviour and needs. However, we do reserve the right to refuse any dog.

My dog requires a muzzle, will you still take them?

Yes, absolutely.

Dogs are assessed based on their individual temperament and needs, not on what they wear. During the assessment, we will consider all factors and can cater to your dog's specific requirements, including the use of a muzzle if necessary. Our goal is to ensure your dog has a safe, comfortable, and positive walking experience.

What security measures do you have?

We take the security of your home and your dog very seriously. Here are the steps we take to ensure everything is safe and secure:

  • All keys are locked away in a secure safe when not in use and are kept separate from any personal information, so they cannot be linked to individual properties.

  • All personal information is stored securely and in accordance with GDPR.

  • Our team wear cameras on all dog walks

  • Each dog is equipped with a GPS Tractive Tracker during their walks to ensure we can always monitor their location.

  • We vary locations regularly to ensure security and avoid patterns and work within time windows to prevent a predictable schedule.

  • Our vans are equipped with dash cameras and trackers for added safety and accountability.

  • In line with UK law, all dogs are required to wear a collar and tag during their walks. We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog is not wearing the appropriate attire.

These measures are in place to give you peace of mind and ensure the safety of your dog and your property.

How do you take payment?

Invoices are sent out on the 3rd Friday of each month.

Payment is expected within 7 days of receiving the invoice and should be made via bank transfer.

If you have any questions regarding payment or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Can you do adhoc walks?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide ad-hoc walk bookings for non-regular clients.

We carefully group our dogs to ensure their safety and well-being. We aim to keep our groups to 5 dogs, reserving the 6th slot for emergencies, pet sitting, or additional walks for our regular clients. However, these slots are not always guaranteed and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, we cannot confirm that ad-hoc walks will be scheduled at the same times as your dog's usual walks. If you'd like to become a regular client, please get in touch, and we can discuss available walking options!
